Folgefonna is a collective name for three plateau glaciers in the Hardanger region of Vestland county, Norway. They are located on the Folgefonna peninsula. The southern part of the Folgefonna glacier is the third largest in Norway.
A variety of skiing, hiking, and ice climbing adventures are possible on the glacier, at all skill levels. FONNA Glacier Ski Resort offers summer skiing with a ski lift, and Folgefonni Breførarlag offers all kind of guided hikes and ice climbing on the glacier.
