Farming is the valley's main business. On your journey through valley, you will follow rivers which are used for production of hydro power. Additionally, there are several hikes throughout, with varying levels of difficulty. Notice the contrast in vegetation on your way! This valley is your gateway to the mountains and the Folgefonna glacier and plant life will change with ever meter closer you become to the glacier. In Krossdalen, there is a toll station, payment is made online or by card, and 100% of the income is used to fund the Glacier Road.
